Ignorance Would Be Bliss

I wonder if later on I will look back on this conclusion
And forget how close I came to jumping.
I feel as an old woman,
Wizened by numerous mistakes & lessons learned.
If tears left marks,
my cheeks would be wrinkled beyond recognition.
But to what avail?
It benefits me none today,
When all I want is to take away my responsibility.
